If you're a man that likes other men ually, what does that have to do with acting feminine?

Shouldn't gay guys all be lumberjacks and construction workers? Firemen and soldiers? All butch with beards and chest hair? I mean, where's the femininess come into play when it's two dudes? If you're a gay that likes guys what attracts you to feminine dudes? I don't get it.
