Would a Rajput man ever marry outside his caste? Would he ever marry a non-Indian?

Specifically, have you ever heard of a Rathore marrying a foreigner? Is all of Rajasthan behind the times, or starting to give up some of its rigidness about tradition? My relationship was vetoed by the parents, and he went along with them.
