How do I get rid of ants?

I have had an ant infestation for the past month in my kitchen. I noticed it about a month ago and began observing better cleaning practices. These ants eat through bags of food so everything has been put into Rubbermaid boxes, the fridge (which they seem not to like), or into the high cabinets (which they also don't seem to like). I set a couple of boric acid ant baits on the floor and the ants love them. They have been munching on an endless buffet of boric acid and corn syrup for the past month and are just fine. What do I do?
