What type of plant is this?

I am trying to figure out what type of potted plant I am caring for in my office (anyone who knew has long since moved on). It grows in vines, enjoys a lot of sunlight and water, the stems are stiffer than what I am used to seeing in vine like plants (almost twig like) and on the velvety side. The leaves are green and grow in clusters of 3. They are vaguely triangular in shape and have approximately 5 points on each leaf. They are thin and not waxy (like those on ivy plants). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
