Tv lience/ summons to court?

Hi, right well here's my issue. My partner set up a diret debit in his name for a tv liences at my address. All was fine I thought until a summons to court landed on my doorstep. Apparanty the diret debits weren't being recieved but I still got sent the tv lience. So I filled in the summons as guilty as it clearly wasn't paid although I didn't know. And I also explained the situation an sent the tv liences with the summons. I chose to do it guilty by post. And it's due to be herd in court at 2 today. My question is what will happen now? And how can I find out the outcome of today? Do I just have to wait?
