Winter words misheard...a poem to react to, if you would?

There will always be those who will twist a persons words and attach meaning that was not intended. I'd say the problem is theirs, not yours. The heart intent matters and more than likely someone is touched by those words in ways we might never know. Ignore the naysayers is what I try to do most of the time. You are very good at expressing what you observe or feel inwardly and this is a good poem....
