Makeing amends?

I recently lost a family member dear to my heart I have started reflecting on my life and would like to resolve one problem. I spent many years with a woman Angela Peters in British columbia Canada I am planning to move to europe next year and am trying to decide wether to contact her or not. this is not for personal gain but just to say I am sorry for not respecting her, not being dependable, for being a self centred *** and many other things before I leave is it worth it to reopen this chapter in my history or just leave and not apologize for everything?
