I can't act altruistically 24/7, it simply isn't feasible for me. How about yourself?

There are many evenings I spend being self-indulgent (nothing really seedy, just lying about watching the garbage on late night tv) rather than carrying out my duties as a Christian (charity, compion for others etc...). I believe, however, that God understands that I am not perfect (only God is and immortality is beyond human comprehension in my opinion) and will fall short of the ideal. But, He forgives and will continue to forgive providing my repentance is sincere and I am trying to follow His teachings to the best of my ability.
