Can dogs tell when you are sick?

Yes I do believe dogs know when we are feeling unwell,my dog used to hle me all the time if I felt ill ,it was as if he was worried he wouldn't get his full quota of attention . My friends dog cuddles up to her when she's under the weather and some dogs can be trained to alert someone who is about to have a fit . Some dogs are trained to sniff out cancer.
